Why do I see "not supported"?
Battery Status API is supported in Chrome and Edge but blocked in Firefox + Safari for privacy reasons. The data only works on supported browsers — fallback heuristic is shown otherwise.
How accurate is "discharge time"?
It's the OS estimate based on current usage rate, projected forward. Switching apps changes it. Treat as ±20% accuracy.
What's normal battery degradation?
Lithium-ion: ~80% capacity after 500-800 charge cycles, ~70% after 1000-1200. Phone: 2-3 years typical. Laptop: 4-6 years before noticeable.
