Frequently Asked Questions
Is this fingerprinting me?
It's reading your browser's natively-exposed values — same data any website can read. Nothing is sent anywhere; computation runs locally and shows you.
Why is fingerprinting bad?
Even without cookies, the combination of these values is often unique to you (~95% of browsers are uniquely identifiable per EFF research). Trackers cross-reference across sites without consent.
How to reduce fingerprint?
Tor Browser is most effective. Brave + Firefox have anti-fingerprint modes. Don't install dozens of extensions. Use common screen resolution + system fonts.
