What to include in an invoice

Tax and discount calculations

The tool calculates totals in the following order: first, it sums all line items (quantity x unit price) to get the subtotal. If a discount percentage is set, it subtracts the discount from the subtotal. Then, the tax percentage is applied to the discounted subtotal. The final total is: (subtotal - discount) + tax. All calculations happen in real-time as you type.
